Q. How should I expect a FloraVelo jersey to fit?
A. Our jerseys are designed to fit true to size - so choose a size based on your typical size for a comfortable shirt. Most FloraVelo customers fit comfortably into two sizes and choose between them based on whether they prefer a snugger or a looser fit. See our Size chart for more info.
Our racerback jersey is an exception to this, it has a sportier cut and is more fitted than our other jersey styles. If you'd like your racerback jersey to have a fit similar to our sleeveless, short sleeve, and long sleeve styles, consider ordering your racerback jersey one size larger than you would order in the other jersey styles.
Q. Do your jerseys have built in shelf bras?
A. No, a built in bra can be limiting in terms of fit and we've found that the majority of our customers prefer a jersey without a built in bra.
Q. What are the care instructions for FloraVelo jerseys?
A. FloraVelo jerseys are machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle. They can be dried on low heat or hung to dry.
Q. What size phone fits the cell phone pocket?
A. Phones keep getting larger so not all phones will fit. Please see our side pocket special features page for detailed information, measurements, and a picture of the cell phone pocket. This pocket is also great for energy bars, pepper spray, or any other quick access items.
Q. Is there elastic around the bottom of the jersey, as is common in most cycling jerseys?
A. No. Honestly, the elastic was the first thing to go when we started designing. We found it uncomfortable and unflattering, and it makes a jersey tend to ride up, so it's also not functional. Our jerseys provide a little more coverage than most - and with the help of the stretch in the fabric, the jersey will comfortably stay in place when you're riding...no elastic necessary.
